Gaelscoil na Dúglaise is an Irish medium, immersion, coeducational, Catholic school. Irish is the living language of communication in our school. Bilingualism opens windows of two cultures. Being bilingual from an early age helps children to learn a third and fourth language when they are a little older. Children experience learning Irish easily and understand that learning other languages is possible. It can promote greater tolerance and respect for other cultures, which is important as Ireland becomes more multicultural. Children from all linguistic and cultural backgrounds are welcome at our school. Nine nationalities are currently represented. Gaelscoil na Dúglaise supports parents active participation in their children’s education and in school life.

Pre-Enrolment can be facilitated by contacting the school office at 4364193 or by down loading a pre-enrolment form here on our website under 'Parents' and 'forms'.
There will be an open night in Gaelscoil na Dúglaise on Tuesday 25th October. Parents of children who will commence school in 2012 are particularly welcome.Enrolments will also be taken on the night for the years 2013-2016. Applications may also be made for our Naíonra which is on campus. Parents are invited to attend from 7.30pm to visit the classrooms and to meet students, parents and staff. The Principal will address the meeting at 8.i.n.You may also pre-enrol your child by downloading a pre-enrolment form under 'parents' and 'forms'. Go raibh maith agaibh.
